Srinagar 13 December (KNB): Personal Security Officer, deployed to protect a BJP activist, along with his associate, decamped with two weapons last night in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
As per official, BJP activist Abdul Rashid Zargar’s PSO, Saqib Ahmad Tantray, who was deployed for the security of the activist had fled with two weapons during last night. It was said that the PSO Saqib’s associate was also involved in the incident.
In the wake of the incident, police have stepped up the searching efforts to trace out the both, who had fled with weapons from the Salkoot area where the BJP activist Zargar had been put up in a building for his protection. (KNB)
