Police Traces Bandipora’s Missing Boy After Nine Months 

Bandipora 07 June (KNB): Bandipora’s missing boy has been found after nine months and was traced in New Delhi, said police on Monday. 

An official said that Bandipora police had received information that a minor boy — identified as Akash Rashid Sheikh son of Abdul Rashid Sheikh, a resident of Kondbal at presently Rakh-Asham area of Sonawari Sumbal — was missing since September 20 last year. 

Police said that after hectic efforts the boy was traced in New Delhi by the Delhi police along with a police team from Bandipora. 

They said that after completing all legal formalities, the boy was handed over to his family members at police Station Sumbal.

As per police official, family members have appreciated the role of Bandipora police for tracing their minor son after nine months. (KNB)
