Awantipora, 27 April (KNB): Following the disturbing incident of disrespect towards a local shrine and mosques in Dadsara Tral, authorities have made headway in identifying the individual responsible.
In a statement released by Awantipora Police, it was revealed that the perpetrator, identified as Manzoor Ahmad hails from Tral and has been determined to be mentally deranged.
The incident, which involved damaging windowpanes and displacing the Quran Pak in a disrespectful manner has sparked outrage within the community. However, investigations have shed light on Ahmad’s history of similar behaviors, indicating a pattern of erratic conduct.
Authorities have urged the public to refrain from succumbing to rumors and to remain vigilant against attempts by nefarious elements to disrupt the peace.
