Police Identifies Slain Intruder as Resident of Kamalkote Uri

Srinagar 10 February (KNB): Police officials on Wednesday identified the slain intruder who was killed during night by Army along Line of Control (LOC) as an elderly from Kamalkote area of Uri of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Officials said that as per preliminary reports, the slain is 56 years old Sarfraz Mir son of Sain Mir resident of Kundibarjala Kamalkote.

Mir had crossed LOC and returned several times, as per the officials, an identification card issued by authorities in Muzaffarabad, along with a weapon has been recovered from the slain. (KNB)
