Awantipora 25 December (KNB): The police arrested a militant associate in south Kashmir’s Tral area, and recovered a grenade from his possession.
As per the officials, a youth, Amir Ashraf Khan, was arrested with the possession of a Chinese hand grenade following the search operation carried by Awantipora Police with the help of 42RR and 180 BN CRPF in Syedabad village of Tral.
Pertinently, the recovered Chinese grenade was found from the compound of the Khan’s house which was concealed in a plastic jar.
However, FIR No.109 / 2020 under relevant sections of law was registered against him at police station Tral. (KNB)
