Shopian 22 Jan(KNB): Police on Sunday claimed to have arrested longest surviving militant affiliated with militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
According to officials, shopian police along with army arrested long surviving militant namely Nasir Ahmad Sher Gojri urf Qasim Bhai S/O Ali Mohd R/O Homhuna Nagbal.
“Nasir was involved in various criminal cases and case has been registered, investigation has been taken up to unearth the militant network,” They said.
Shopian Police & Army arrested one of the longest surviving HM terrorist active since 2017 namely Nasir Ahmed Sher Gojri @ Qasim Bhai S/o Ali Mohd R/o HomHuna Nagbal, involved in various criminal cases. Case registered & investigation set in motion to unearth the terror network, said Kashmir Police Zone in a tweet.(KNB)
