Baramulla 12 Feb(KNB): Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband Cannabis Powder like substance in Wagoora Kreeri area of Baramulla district.
In a statement issued to news agency Kashmir News Bureau-KNB that Police under the supervision of Khalid Ashraf-JKPS SDPO Kreeri* assisted by PSI Sameer Ahmad, IC PP Wagoora arrested Drug Peddler namely Faizan Rasool Dar S/O Ghulam Rasool Dar R/O Kachwa Muqam.
During his personal search 90 grams of contraband Cannabis Powder like substance was recovered from him and was taken into custody immediately.
Cases under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Kreeri and investigations set in motion, police said in a statement said
General People of the area hailed the efforts of Baramulla Police and showed their willingness to support police to eradicate menace of drugs from the society which is the real sign of Police Public relationship, statement added.(KNB)
