Baramulla Jan 22 (KNB): Pattan Police Arrested Drug Peddler alongwith 104 grams of Charas &1800 grams of Charas Powder like substance at Palhallan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
In a statement issued to news agency Kashmir News Bureau-KNB that During naka checking at Gundbal Palhallan, Police under the supervision of Inspr. Sarjan Ahmad, SHO PS Pattan assisted by SI Aeraf Niyaz, IC PP Palhallan witnessed a suspicious person coming from Naidkhai towards Hamrey, upon noticing the police party tried to flee from the spot but was apprehended tactfully.
During his personal search 104 grams Charas & 1800 grams of Charas Powder like substance was recovered and was immediately seized.
The drug peddler who was identified as Bakhtiyar Ahmad Bhat S/O Mohd Sultan Bhat R/O Buchoo Palhallan, District Baramulla was taken into custody. (KNB)
