Says ‘Foiled a major terror attack on the city’

New Delhi 17 November (KNB): Delhi Police has nabbed two Jaish-e-Mohammed Militants and foiled a major attack on the national capital, said officials.

Officials stated that Delhi Police Special Cell made the arrests to prevent a major militant attack and are now questioning the two terrorists, who were arrested from Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi.

According to Delhi Police officials, a trap was laid near Millennium Park in Sarai Kale Khan around 10.15 pm on Monday night.
“Two suspected militants who are residents of J&K have been apprehended along with 2 semi-automatic pistols and 10 live cartridges,” police officials said.

Officials stated that the two JeM militants have been identified as residents of Jammu and Kashmir, Abdul Latif Mir (22 years old), son of Sanaullah Mir, resident of Pala Mohalla in Baramulla and Mohd. Ashraf Khatana (20 years old), son of Bashir Ahmed, resident of Hat Mulla village of Kupwara district. (KNB)
