PM Modi Congratulates His Canadian Counterpart on Winning of Election

Srinagar 22 September (KNB): The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi on Wednesday congratulated his Canadian counterpart, Justin Trudeau on his victory in the election.

PM Narendra Modi in his tweet said “Congratulations Prime Minister @JustinTrudeau on your victory in the elections!”

“I look forward to continue working with you to further strengthen India-Canada relations, as well as our cooperation on global and multilateral issues,” added PM in his tweet. 

Justin Trudeau was born on 25 December 1971 in Ottawa. He attended Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf and graduated from McGill University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in literature. After that in 1998, Trudeau acquired a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of British Columbia. 

He has also been a teacher and taught French, Humanities, Math and Drama at the secondary school. (KNB)
