PM Modi Condoles Journalist Rohit Sardana’s Death, Says He Left Us Too Soon

Srinagar 30 April (KNB): After the death of journalist Rohit Sardana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said in a tweet that Sardana left us too soon. 

Modi said in his tweet that Rohit was energetic and passionate about the country’s progress and said that his death has left a huge void in the media world.   

“Rohit Sardana left us too soon. Full of energy, passionate about India’s progress and a kind hearted soul, Rohit will be missed by many people. His untimely demise has left a huge void in the media world. Condolences to his family, friends and admirers. Om Shanti,” siad PM in his tweet. 

However, Rohit Sardana was working with Aaj Tak and was host of a debate show called “Dangal”. He had also been a part of Zee News where he used to host a programme — “Taal Thok ke”.

LG J&K Manoj Sinha also tweeted in this regard and said “Saddened to hear about the demise of senior TV journalist Shri Rohit Sardana who passed away today. His commitment to journalism will be long remembered. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. May the Almighty grant eternal peace to the departed soul.”

On Sardana’s death, Journalist Rajdeep Sardesai also shared his words in a tweet and said, “More terrible news friends. Well known Tv news anchor Rohit Sardana has passed away. Had a heart attack this morning. Deep condolences to his family. RIP.” (KNB)
