Srinagar, February 26 (KNB): The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference (PC) has officially announced its President, Sajad Gani Lone as the party’s Parliamentary Candidate for the North Kashmir Lok Sabha Segment. The declaration was made by the party’s Senior General Secretary, Imran Reza Ansari.
Addressing the media, Ansari stated, “In response to the duty assigned to me by the party to hold discussions with party leaders and ascertain the best possible way forward in the upcoming Parliamentary elections, I have had extensive discussions over the past two weeks. I met all constituency heads and block level leaders.”
Based on these discussions, the party has decided to field a candidate from the Baramulla Parliamentary seat. “For the Baramulla Parliamentary seat, the leadership and the rank and file of the party have overwhelmingly endorsed the candidature of our party President, Mr. Sajad Gani Lone,” Ansari announced with enthusiasm.
He added, “It is with great pleasure I formally announce that Mr. Sajad Lone has acceded to the demand of the party. He will be the candidate of the party from Baramulla Parliamentary seat.”
Expressing optimism about Lone’s candidacy, Ansari highlighted the party’s belief that his advocacy on the floor of the parliament will champion the just cause of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
“The fiercest speeches advocating the just cause of our people will finally be delivered by Mr. Sajad Lone after a painful wait of 7 decades. The people of J&K will finally get the chance to roar,” he concluded.(KNB)
