Srinagar 01 June (KNB): Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference on Tuesday expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of renowned Islamic scholar Mufti Faiz-ul-Waheed, who passed away this morning.
In a condolence message, PC spokesman has termed the scholar’s demise as a major loss for the society, stating that his passing away has left a void in the scholarly community that will be extremely difficult to fill in.
The spokesman further said that Mufti sahab’s greatest contribution will be remembered for times to come is his literary rich translation of Holy Quran into Gojri language. “His others works like Ahkaam-e- Mayyat, ‘Siraj-um-Muneera’ amd ‘Namaz Kae Masayil Quran-o-Hadees Ki Roshni Mei’ will act as a guiding light for the scholars of the Islamic world to prosper and progress in their quest for knowledge and wisdom,” the spokesperson of the party said.
Party has prayed to Allah to grant the deceased highest place in Jannah and patience to the bereaved family to bear this loss. (KNB)
