Srinagar 19 September (KNB): PDP President Mehbooba Mufti, visited Barbarshah in Habba Kadal to offer her condolences on the recent demise of Mohd Altaf Sheikh in a road accident. She was accompanied by the constituency incharge of Habba Kadal, Arif Laigroo, ex-MLA Anjum Fazli, and Sameer ul Jameel.
During her visit, Mufti expressed deep sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family of Altaf Ahmed Sheikh. She praised the deceased for his straightforwardness, sense of community service, simplicity, and honesty, describing him as a noble soul who had earned the love and admiration of the people. Altaf Sheikh was known for his politeness, humility, and his active involvement in social and community service.
Several other leaders, including Fayaz Rah Sheikh, Numan Mohammad Yaseen, Aman Zargar, Insha, and others, attended the condolence meeting.
Mufti offered prayers for the departed soul, hoping that Almighty Allah would grant solace and peace to Altaf Sheikh and provide patience to his family during this difficult time.(KNB)
