Srinagar, 07 April (KNB): The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) announced three leaders as Lok Sabha candidates for Kashmir and Pir Panchal region.
Mehooba Mufti will contest from Anantnag-Rajouri seat, Wahid-ur-Rehman Parra from Srinagar and Fayaz Mir from Baramulla.
The decision was made by the party’s Parliamentary Board Chairman, Sartaj Madani, after thorough discussions within the party.
The party announced the candidates during a press conference where Mufti and Sartaj Madni addressed the audience.
They said that the PDP would extend its support to the Congress for the Udhampur and Jammu seats in the Jammu region.-KNB
