Srinagar 6 May (KNB): The Meteorological department on Friday said that there is a possibility of a hailstorm with a thundershower in the parts of Central and South Kashmir within one hour from now.
The latest weather update from the MeT this afternoon has predicted that the Ganderbal and Kangan of Central Kashmir are going to receive a hailstorm which would be accompanied by a thundershower. This weather system is going to be observed during the coming one hour from now, it said.
It further said that Rajouri and South Kashmir’s Shopian and Kulgam districts too would observe the thunder shower with hailstorm during next one hour.
The weather update said that “Possibility of thunder shower accompanied with Hailstorm most likely over Ganderbal, Kangan, Rajouri, Shopian and Kulgam districts during next 1 hour from now.” (KNB)
