PAGD Reaches Kargil to Meet Local Leaders

Srinagar 30 October (KNB): A delegation of People’s Alliance for Gupkar (PAGD) travelled to Kargil in order to meet and interact with local leaders of Drass area.

The interaction session with the local leaders of Drass area of Kargil region took place in the morning. The delegation, which was led by vice president J&K National Conference (NC) Omar Abdullah, explained the agenda of PAGD during the session.

The people of Drass welcomed us with open arms and clearly endorsed the agenda of the People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration, said Omar Abdullah.
Omar tweeted, “Warmly received by the people of Drass, who in one voice endorsed the agenda of the People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration”.

Earlier on Twitter Omar had revealed about the plans to visit Kargil. He tweeted, “People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration is heading to Kargil to hold consultations with the people to chart out the road ahead.”

Senior leaders consisting the delegation included, Omar Abdullah, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura, Nasir Aslam Wani, Muzafar Shah and Waheed Parra. (KNB)
