Baramulla 16 Sep(KNB): A unidentified militants was Killed by security forces in an ongoing encounter at Hathlanga, located in the Uri of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said.
According to reports reached to news agency Kashmir News Bureau-KNB that, the encounter began when security forces received specific intelligence regarding the presence of militants in the Hathlanga area. Responding to the information, a joint team of the Indian Army, paramilitary forces, and local police cordoned off the suspected location.
Intense gunfire ensued between the security forces and the militants, resulting in the killing of one militant.(KNB)
