Anantnag 11 March (KNB):One more militant killed in a gun-battle, which started yesterday between militants and security forces in Bijbehara area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Officials said that one more unidentified militant has been killed in the encounter.
Officials added that in total, two unidentified militant have been killed so far, while the operation is still going on.
Pertinent to mention that yesterday, a joint team of Police, Army’s 3RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Kandipora, Bijbehara area.
Upon reaching the suspected spot, militants opened fire on the security forces which was retaliated with the same response, triggering off the gun-battle, officials added. (KNB)
