One militant still holed up in Sunjuwan military camp: Army

Jammu, Feb 12 (KNB): The operation to tackle the militants holed up in the JCO residential quarters has been going on for over 50 hours after JeM militants entered the camp early on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly today observed a two-minute silence in memory of five Army personnel and a civilian who were killed in a Fidayeen strike on the Sunjwan Army camp.

The army on Monday said that one militant was still holed up inside the Sunjuwan military camp in Jammu, three days after an attack left six persons dead.

“One militant is still hold-up inside the camp and efforts are on to neutralize him,” a Defence Ministry official said.
