Srinagar 16 June (KNB): In an ongoing encounter in Nowgam’s Wagoora area of J&K’s Summer capital Srinagar, one unidentified militant has been killed, as per an official.
The encounter started late at night when the security forces cordoned and searched the Wagoora area of Nowgam after the specific inputs about militants’ presence.
As per police, two militants were believed to be trapped at the encounter site, among whom one unidentified militant is said to be killed by the forces.
Regarding the encounter, police said that “Encounter has started at Wagoora, Naugam area of Srinagar. Two militants trapped. Security forces on job. Further details shall follow.” (KNB)
