Anantnag 11 May (KNB): One unidentified militant has been killed in a gun-battle raged on Tuesday Morning, in Vailo area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Earlier, officials said that based upon specific intel about the presence of militants in the area, a team of Police and Army launched a cordon and search operation. Amid the operation militants opened fire upon the security forces which was retaliated, triggering off the gun-battle.
Moreover, as per the officials, in the ongoing encounter, one unidentified militant has been killed so far. (KNB)
