Srinagar 15 Aug(KNB): Police on Monday arrested owner of a scooty that was seized after chance encounter at Nowhatta area of Srinagar, Police official said.
According to reports reached to news agency Kashmir News Bureau-KNB, police has arrested owner of scooty identified as Umer Mukhtar Naqeeb S/o Bashir Ahmad R/o Natipora for providing a 2nd hand scooty to active militants Momin Gulzar on 27 July this year.
This scooty along with arms/ammunition/explosives/clothes and other incriminating material was recovered yesterday after chance encounter, he said.
Notably, a Cop was killed in the Encounter while one militant was also injured. (KNB)
