Anantnag 24 February (KNB): No militants killed in the gun-battle which is underway in Shulgul forest area, Srigufwara of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Officials said that the information regarding killing of militants in the gun-battle was just a confusion but around three to four militants are likely to be trapped in the encounter site.
Moreover, officials said that the operation is going on and further details shall follow.
Earlier, Team of Police, Army’s 3RR and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) launched a cordon and search operation in Shalgul forest area, during which hiding militants opened fire upon the security personnels, officials said, adding that the forces retaliated with the same response which triggered off the gun-battle.
