Srinagar 02 August (KNB): Around four rice cookers were found today morning in a suspicious condition on Srinagar-Gulmarg road at Agrikalan area, as per police officials.
After the spotting of the rice cookers, which raised the suspicion among the locals and police, a bomb disposal squad was called in to inspect the objects lying on the roadside.
However, the rice cookers, which were later found empty without any explosives in it, had necessitated the holding up of a traffic movement on the road stretch.
As per police, the cookers could have been stolen by some thieves and were abandoned along the roadside.
The official added that “Apparently the rice cookers seem to be stolen property abandoned by thieves.” (KNB)
