Srinagar, April 08(KNB): Senior separatist leader and chairmain Hurriyat(M) Mirwaiz Molvi Umer Farooq terms the summon by the NIA as effort to malign the leadership for its political stand work and urged the people to stay calm and peaceful.
Mirwaiz Molvi Umer Farooq insisted that inspite of the harassment Resistance leadership will continue to seek for the peaceful resolution of the Kashmir issue.
Taking to the social networking sites Twitter on reaching Delhi Mirwaiz Molvi Umer Farooq tweeted”in Delhi today with my colleague for NIA summon , efforts for malign the resistance for its political stand work, Inspite of the harrasment# hurriyat will continue to seek peaceful resolution for the # Kashmir issue ,urgue people back home to stay calm and Peaceful.”
Pertinently, Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umer Farooq has to appear before the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in connection with an alleged funding case, and is accompanied by executive members of the Hurriyat, including Professor Abdul Ghani Bhat, Bilal Gani Lone and Masroor Abbas Ansari to the national capital.(KNB)
