SRINAGAR, April 08(KNB): Retired Lt Gen DS Hooda, has said the special status of Jammu and Kashmir and articles 370 and 35A should not be removed as it may trigger for more disturbance in state.
Tasked by the Congress party to come with a vision document for the national security and Army commander was made head of the “Task force for national security ” by Rahul Gandhi in February this year.
He said this in a detailed report of 45 pages document “Contentious issues that could provide a trigger for more disturbances should currently be kept on the backburner, while attempts are made to arrive at a political consensus on these subjects,”(KNB).
