Neither Trespass, Nor Harm Anyone’s Life, Property, Honour: Taliban to Its Fighters

Srinagar 16 August (KNB): After the Taliban’s conquest of Afghanistan by taking over the capital Kabul on Sunday, the Islamic Emirate has ordered its fighters to neither trespass in one’s house nor harm anyone’s life, property or honour, as per Taliban’s Spokesperson Suhail Shaheen. 

As Afghanistan fell to the Taliban with top brass in the government leaving the country including its president, Ashraf Ghani, the spokesperson of Taliban tweets that Islamic Emirate ordered its fighters that no one is allowed to enter anyone’s house without permission.  

The tweet from Taliban came amid growing concerns of the international players regarding the rights of Afghanistan peoples to get trampled with turn of events. 

However, Taliban spokesperson further said in his tweet that life, property and honor of none shall be harmed but must be protected by the fighters.

It is pertinent to mention that the Taliban made strides in Afghanistan in terms of gaining control over cities after the U.S pulled out of its forces from there after 20 years. (KNB)
