Srinagar 07 February (KNB): A quadragenarian man died at SMHS hospital on Monday from his burn injuries, which he had received in a blaze in Srinagar’s Nawakadal area last month.
A fire incident on 20th January in Nawakadal left several houses damaged and also consumed the life of a lady. In the fire incident, Abdul Majeed had received burn injuries and was being treated in the SMHS hospital since then.
However, on Monday morning the injured man breathed his last, which took the total death toll in the fire incident to two.
As per doctors, the deceased man had received grave injuries to his head after the explosion of a gas cylinder, which was attributed a cause behind the fire incident. (KNB)
