Srinagar, Oct 15 (KNB): The Mughal Road has been temporarily closed to vehicular traffic following the season’s first snowfall, officials said on Wednesday.
Sub-Inspector Traffic Mughal Road Mahroof Choudhary said the road was closed as a precautionary measure in view of fresh snowfall and slippery conditions.
He advised travellers to avoid using the route until weather conditions improve and the road is cleared for traffic.
Restoration work will be undertaken once the snowfall stops and weather conditions become favourable, he added.
