
Budgam January 11(KNB): MLA Budgam Aga Muntazir Mehdi undertook a detailed two-day tour of the Bemina area, during which he met people across various localities and neighbourhoods and listened to their issues and grievances firsthand. On the occasion, he assured the public that all pending developmental works in Bemina would be taken up on a priority basis and that sustained efforts would be made to transform the area into a better and more beautiful place.
Addressing the residents, Aga Muntazir Mehdi informed that a Detailed Project Report (DPR) worth approximately ₹21 crore has been prepared for the improvement of the flood channel and drainage system in Bemina. He assured that the project will be implemented and closely followed up to ensure timely execution.
He further stated that a DPR amounting to nearly ₹18 crore is also under preparation for the road widening project from Budgam to Bemina, adding that this project too will be pursued vigorously to ensure early implementation.
The MLA reiterated his commitment to providing full support to Bemina, Khomeini Chowk, Garipora, and all other localities and areas in the region. He remarked that despite the lack of adequate attention from previous leaders or political parties, he stands firmly with the people and is determined to ensure that all long-pending works are completed.
Aga Muntazir Mehdi’s visit has generated a wave of optimism and happiness among the residents of Bemina,and surrounding areas. Locals expressed satisfaction over the fact that an elected representative is personally reaching out to them, listening to their grievances, and making sincere efforts to resolve their long-standing issues.(KNB)
