Baramulla 30 July (KNB): A 45 year old lady, who was missing since yesterday, was found dead in an orchard of Gutiyar area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reportedly the woman, identified as Fareeda Begum wife of Gulzar Ahmad Mir had gone missing yesterday after she had taken to an orchard in the area, following which searches to find her were also initiated.
However, during the morning hours today her body was found by the locals in the orchard and was afterwards taken to a hospital for post-mortem to ascertain the cause of her death.
Police has taken cognisance of the matter and a case has been registered as well as investigation has been initiated, officials said. (KNB)
