Kulgam 9 July (KNB): A military operation against militants started late last night in Redwani area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Officials said that on basis of J&K police inputs, a joint operation was launched in the area late last night.
During the cordon and search operation, contact was established with the hiding militants and the encounter ensued, officials added.
Earlier, officials said that the operation is still in progress and further details about it will be shared accordingly.
Pertinent to mention that yesterday, 4 militants were killed in two separate encounters. (KNB)
