Baramulla 24 Dec(KNB): A retired Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Mohammed Shafi Mir, was shot by militants while praying in a mosque at his native village.
Despite evacuation and medical attention, Mir succumbed to his injuries.
Security forces have cordoned off the area to nab the attackers.(KNB)
