Srinagar 30 December (KNB): Meteorological department Srinagar on Thursday said that they are expecting a moderate spell of snow/rain in J&K and Ladakh Union Territories in the first week of January.
A MeT official in its latest weather update while mentioning about the current weather in Ladakh and J&K said that there would most likely be a widespread snowfall/rain spell of moderate intensity in the J&K and Ladakh during 4th to 6th January.
The official, however, said that the prediction is based on today’s observation and might be modified in the coming days.
Regarding the temperature, it was said that further dip in the mercury is being expected. (KNB)
