Srinagar 06 December (KNB): Meteorological department on Monday said that they are expecting mainly dry weather in both UTs for the next ten days with light rain and snow likely to fall around Wednesday and Thursday at some places in J&K.
As the MeT had already predicted snow and rain to fall on the last weekend in J&K and Ladakh on Saturday and Sunday, the officials have expected a light rain and snow to fall around 8th-9th of this month i.e., Wednesday and Thursday at some places in J&K.
The officials also said in its latest weather update that there would be no significant changes in weather for the next ten days in both the UTs of J&K and Ladakh.
It was further said that weather has improved across all the valley with mainly clear weather observed in all the districts.
As the gradual fall in night temperature is being also expected by MeT officials in J&K, the temperature last night in Kashmir was — Srinagar (2.6 degrees C), Qazigund (3.2 degrees C), Pahalgam (0.6 degrees C), Kupwara (1.0 degrees C), Kokernag (1.9 degrees C) and Konibal (2.5 degrees C). (KNB)
