Srinagar 30 April (KNB): Meteorological department on Friday said that there would be a brief spell of hailstorm with lightning and thunderstorm at different places of J&K during next 2-3 hours from now.
MeT officials said that they are expecting a brief spell of thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and hailstorm at scattered places of Poonch, Rajouri, Ramban-Banihal, Gulmarg and in some places of Budgam, South Kashmir during next two to three hours from now.
Weather forecaster further said that the expected brief spell would gradually dissipate later on.
However, the MeT officials also said that there would be no major rain or snowfall for next one week.
“There’s no forecast of any major rain ‘snow forecast for next 1 week,” said officials in the latest update. (KNB)
