Srinagar, May 07 (KNB): In a scathing attack, former Jammu Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah Monday took on the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti saying that blood is the price Kashmiris are paying blood paying for you to remain CM & for PDP & BJP to remain “partners in crime”.
In a series of tweets on social media website Twitter, National Conference’s Working President and former CM said: “Your tweet has a hollow ring to it. At least your brother was more honest than you. This blood is the price Kashmiris are paying for you to remain CM & for PDP & BJP to remain “partners in crime” (sic).”
Lashing out at Mehbooba Mufti, Omar in his second tweet said: “One question though, as the state Home Minister & head of the Unified Command you have admitted these boys are “innocent civilians” so who will be charged & hanged for their cold blooded murder? Or should I be asking @HMOIndia this question? (sic).”
Pertinently, after ten killings on Sunday, Mehbooba Mufti had tweeted: “The loss of 5 innocent civilians in Shopian serves as a grim reminder that violence is no solution to the issues that plague us. We all must unite & pull J&K out of this endless nightmare by engaging in sustained & meaningful dialogue.”
Pertinently, Saddam Padder along with his four associates, including assistant professor turned militant Dr Muhammad Rafi Bhat of Ganderbal were killed on Sunday during a gunfight in Badigam village of district Shopian. (KNB)
