Srinagar 4 December (KNB): The Mayor of Srinagar has appointed Danish Shafi as the Advisor for Administrative Affairs and Public Relations, Shaffat Gaffar as Advisor for Council and Corporation Affairs, Firdous Ahmad Sheikh as Political Advisor, Mir Wasim as Advisor for Trade Bodies and Community Economic Affairs and Asif Zargar as Advisor for Youth Affairs and Community Outreach.
Junaid Azim Mattu appointed them in order to assist him in the aforementioned areas of responsibility.
Statement issued to Kashmir News Bureau said that all advisors to Mayor of Srinagar will be tasked with specific responsibilities through separate order in due course.
It further stated that the Advisory Committee to Mayor along with the standing committee chairpersons will meet on a weekly basis to review the progress of various invitations undertaken by the Mayor’s Office and will attend official meeting as representatives of the Mayor as required. (KNB)
