Jammu 25 November (KNB): Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha has expressed his condolences on the demise of Maulana Kalbe Sadiq, Vice President, All India Muslim Personal Law Board(AIMPLB).
Manoj Sinha said, “Saddened to learn about the passing away of Maulana Kalbe Sadiq. He was an Eminent Islamic scholar, noted educationist, preacher and harbinger of communal unity & progressive thinking.”
Lt Governor further expressed his condolences to the bereaved family members, well-wishers and prayed to the almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
Maulana Kalbe Sadiq passed away after a prolonged illness on Tuesday. The 83-year-old renowned Shia cleric had been undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Lucknow. (KNB)
