Srinagar 05 October (KNB): On Tuesday evening a non-local street vendor was shot dead near Madina Chowk in Srinagar’s Lal Bazar and another local was killed in Bandipora after the duo were fired upon by unknown gunmen.
As per an official, the non-local street vendor was fired upon at Madina Chowk in Lal Bazar by some unknown gunmen, which resulted in his death. However, in another incident in North Kashmir’s Bandipora, a local was killed by unknown gunmen after being shot, resulting in serious injuries to him.
The local killed in Bandipora’s Hajin area has been identified as Mohammad Shafi.
However, the deceased non-local street vendor has been identified as Virender Paswan, a resident of Bhagalpur Bihar.
The duo incident came on the heels of one at Iqbal Park, Srinagar in which a renowned apothecary runner, Makhan Lal Bindroo, was shot dead by unknown gunmen near his shop. (KNB)
