Srinagar 06 October (KNB): India has reported 18,833 new cases of Covid19, with 278 covid fatalities during the last 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
As per the ministry, a total of 3,31,75,656 covid patients have recovered so far in the country and 24,770 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours across India.
“The active caseload of the country currently stands at 2,46,687, which is the lowest in 203 days and constitutes 0.73% of total cases,” said the MoHFW.
It further said that the daily positivity rate at present is 1.34 percent, a figure less than three percent for the last 37 days. “Weekly Positivity Rate remains 1.68 percent, which is less than 3% for the last 103 days,” it added.
The ministry further said that 92.17 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and 57.68 Cr total tests conducted so far throughout the country. (KNB)
