Srinagar 16 Oct(KNB):- The Legends League Cricket (LLC) Final witnessed an unprecedented turnout of over 27,000 spectators at the Bakshi Stadium, marking a significant milestone for Kashmir’s sports landscape. This electrifying event has ignited a spark among the region’s youth, inspiring them to pursue cricket and promoting a positive, drug-free lifestyle.
Youthful enthusiasm filled the air as fans watched international cricket legends in action. “It was my dream to see international players on the ground, and it’s come true,” an ecstatic young spectator told Kashmir News Bureau (KNB).
Another attendee echoed similar sentiments, “It’s a great moment for Kashmir. International players coming here keeps our youth away from drugs and provides opportunities to participate and learn from them.”
The Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council played a pivotal role in arranging facilities and manpower for the successful event. Secretary Nuzhat Gul expressed pride in hosting global cricket stars, saying, “Previously, we watched these players on TV; now, it’s a proud moment for J&K.”
Gul highlighted the event’s broader significance, “This tournament celebrates peace and progress in Jammu and Kashmir, demonstrating our readiness to host major international events.” As the stadium resonated with cheering fans, she noted, “The atmosphere was electrifying. Children were thrilled to see global cricket stars in person, finding inspiration in this moment.”
