Budgam 18 June (KNB): A leopard was captured alive in Khan Sahib area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday, said Wildlife Department.
Officials said that they received information about the presence of a leopard around Kalshipora area of Khan Sahib.
A team of Wildlife Department reached the place where the leopard was seen and captured the wild animal alive successfully, officials added.
As per the officials the wild animal will be taken to a safe place and will be provided safe passage into it’s natural habitat.
Pertinent to mention that Wild Life department has successfully captured number of leopards in past weeks after a several attacks left the people of the valley in the atmosphere of fear. (KNB)
