Srinagar 25 March (KNB): One CRPF personnel succumbed to injuries, and three others got injured following the attack carried by suspected militants on the CRPF party at the Lawaypora area of Srinagar on Thursday late afternoon.
According to a senior police official, one CRPF succumbed to his injuries who has been identified as ASI Manga Ram Barman, while three others got injured in the attack at Lawaypora.
However, the suspected militants behind the attack fled after opening fire on the CRPF party in the outskirts of Srinagar. The injured CRPF men were later taken to a hospital for treatment.
Pertinent to mention that the forces cordoned off the area to nab the militants behind the attack. (KNB)
