Kishtwar 9 July (KNB): Jammu and kashmir police on Friday apprehended two absconders, who were evading arrest from last 7 & 5 years, from different locations in Kishtwar district.
Officials said that the arrested absconders identified as Tanveer Ahmed S/o Abdul Gabar R/o Keshwan and Waseem Ahmed @ Raju S/o Guma R/o Sangrambata Kishtwar, were wanted in different cases viz FIR No. 160/2013 US 457,427, 332/RPC & FIR No. 187/2016 US 458,380/RPC respectively, registered at Police Station Kishtwar.
An information was received through reliable sources and acting on this information, a team led by Inspector Abid Bukhari SHO PS Kishtwar and PSI Ankit Sharma IC PP Thakrie, was constituted under the supervision of Dy.SP Hqrs Kishtwar, officials said, adding that the team raided the suspected locations and arrested the absconders from different locations of Kishtwar district.
Moreover, SSP Kishtwar Shafqat Hussain Batt-JKPS appreciated Kishtwar police for the success. (KNB)
