Srinagar 12 August (KNB): In an ongoing encounter in South Kashmir Kulgam’s Mir Bazar area, one CRPF personnel has been reported to have got injured in it.
The reports reaching to KNB said that the injured CRPF personnel was hit by a bullet during the encounter and was immediately evacuated to a hospital in the wake of it.
However, the encounter is still going on in the area. The IGP has earlier said that the militants had been trapped after an attack was carried out upon a BSF convoy on the National Highway at Kulgam.
Following the attack, forces retaliated with the same response which triggered an encounter in the area.
