Srinagar 02 Sep(KNB): Directorate of Youth Services and Sports has attached the Physical Education Lecturer at Govt Boys Higher Secondary School Mirgund after allegations of rude behavior with students.
According to an order issued by the DYSS issued on Friday said that there have been complaints against the said teacher and Directorate of Education Kashmir had conveyed the same.
Inquiry has been ordered against the teacher and District Youth Services and Sports Officer Baramulla has been ordered to complete the inquiry by September 5 and submit the report to the Directorate.
Earlier, a 12 th year girl student was nauseating and had asked to be permitted to go in open air. The teacher denied her permission following which she fell unconcious.
The accused teacher, Mohammad Yousuf, denied any help be provided to the ill girl to an extent of saying ‘let her die’.
Officials at the school said that the teacher has been behaving rudely with the students. Students of the school had also complained of misbehavior. After the girl incident the school was forced to complain to higher authorities to intervene.
According to officials the said teacher blocked and prevented Vice Principal from providing helping hand to the girl student who was unconcious. “After principal of the school intervened the girl was hospitalised. She had sustained injuries as we, ” they claimed.(KNB)
