Kathua Case: slow pace of judicial system is responsible for rapes, Nirbhaya’s mother

Delhi 16 April (KNB): While Commenting about the gruesome rape and murder of 8-year-old girl of Kathua, the mother of Nirbhaya, Asha Devi, has said that the slow pace of judicial system is responsible for rapes as it has not instilled fear in culprits.

Talking to media, Nirbhaya’s mother said: “The crimes like #Unnao and #Kathua rape cases were taking place as the slow pace of judicial system is not instilling any fear in the minds of culprits.”

The rape and murder of eight-year-old Bakerwal girl, who was raped inside a temple, has created a huge controversy in the state.

So far, two of rightwing BJP ministers, who addressed the pro-rapist rally in Kathua have resigned under huge pressure.(KNB)
