Kashmiri MBBS Student Passes Away in Iran; Family Appeals for Government Assistance in Repatriation

In a heart-wrenching incident, Mohammad Arsalan Kanjwal a fourth-year MBBS student from village Nowpora Sopore Kashmir, who was studying at Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS), passed away on January 6.

The news has deeply saddened the community in Nowpora Sopore. Arsalan pursuing his dream of becoming a doctor, leaves behind a grieving family and relatives.

The family grappling with the shock of his loss, is appealing to the government for assistance in bringing Arsalan’s body back to Kashmir for a proper farewell.
